What You’ll Learn

This course is designed for complete beginners and those new to bouldering. By the end of the course, you'll understand:

  • Essential climbing techniques (body positioning, footwork, balance)

  • Bouldering terminology (crux, beta, topping out, etc.)

  • How to fall safely and use crash pads effectively

  • Climbing grades and how to read a route/problem

  • Basic climbing etiquette and safety tips

  • Warming up and injury prevention

  • Climbers transitioning from rope climbing to bouldering

  • Anyone looking to gain confidence on the wall

Course Format

  • Length: 1.5 – 2 hours

  • Location: ROF59 Cllimbing Centre

  • Group Size: 4–8 participants for personalized attention

  • Instructor: Certified climbing coach with experience in beginner instruction

  • Comfortable athletic clothing

  • Climbing shoes (rentals available)

  • Water bottle

  • A willingness to try something new!
